Sixteen Paws Press is a small printmaking workshop located in Central Pennsylvania. The owner, Jean Sanders is an Artist and a Professor of Art at the Pennsylvania State University. Jean has been teaching printmaking for the past eighteen years and in the last seven years she has been focusing on the art of photogravure and other related print and paper processes.
All of the classes taught at 16 Paws are small group classes (4 to 6 students maximum). This ensures each student will receive personal guidance throughout every step of the technical work that is done. With each workshop, the student can expect to create at least one finished print. A background in the fine arts is helpful but by no means necessary.
